Hello Bloggies!!

I know this is not a beauty-related post, but aside from beauty stuff, I am also a KPOP enthusiast. Hehhe (some of you might have already noticed this because of my Mixpod playlist..)

Anyway, on with the post.



A Korean ballad group-2AM, will officially launch their album-Saint o'clock, in eight Asian countries the next month, joining a line of K-pop artists who have branched out into the international music markets.

"Our first album will go on sale in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan and Thailand," Seulong said. "We haven’t gone on many promotional tours in Asia so we were happy to hear that it will be released in those countries."

An official at Big Hit Entertainment, producer and publicist of 2AM, further backed what the singer said, explaining that "Saint o'clock" will be released in the eight countries successively starting mid-November with a promotional tour in those countries planned for early next year."

Woohooo!!! I can't wait for the tour!!! I am dying to take part in this event!! God, please please please let me be free on the days 2AM tours the country.... :P

Hi Guys!!

Semester break is here and I finally found the time to review two skincare products from my past Etude House hauls.. :)) So here goes...

The first product is:
Etude House Aqua Sherbet Lotion

Review
Pros:
*non-sticky
*a little bit cooling
*a little bit refreshing
*has a mild minty scent
*nicely packaged
*affordable
*didn't cause breakouts

cons:
*not moisturizing enough
*has unhygienic bottle opening
*packaging is not convenient for traveling

All in all the product is not something that I can't rave about. It really is nothing special and I feel that there are a lot more moisturizers out there that can replace this in my vanity table. This product gives me just the right amt. of moisture I need in the morning, but during the night, the moisture just isn't enough. I think that I won't be repurchasing this again.

Etude House Skin Drink Aqua Toner in Sea in a Bottle (or so I think it is.. LOL)

**My mom has been the one using this product, but I've also tried using it a lot of times.

Pros:
*refreshing
*non-sticky (unlike my The Body Shop toner)
*love the clean and fresh scent
*cleans dirt from face
*mild
*didn't cause break-outs
*nice packaging (as expected from Etude House Products)
*affordable
*gives the face a glossy finish
*non-drying

Cons:
*didn't give a dramatic effect

All in all the product worked fine but is again something that I wouldn't rave about. I'm not really a toner person so I don't use toners regularly. (I only use it when I feel like it.. LoL) It does its job(removing excess oil)well but again I feel that there are other toners out there that would be better. Besides, facial wash alone removes excess oil from my face already. Who needs toners?? (correct me if I'm wrong but this is a not-a-toner-fan point of view... *(^..~)* I don't think that I'd be repurchasing this again.

Hi Guys,

Its been a while. I miss blogging.

Time has gone by so fast and now its almost Christmas. Soon, it would already be the start of a new year. Its really saddening to think that after 2 years, I would already be graduating High School and will have to tread a different path from my friends. :c

Anyway, away with those sad thoughts. For now, allow me to share with you what I'm most thankful for these past 9 months of the year 2010.

Before school year 2010-2011 started, I was kind of hesitant to meet my new classmates. I only knew them by name and face, so I weren't sure if I'm up to the challenge of making new friends all-over again. Don't get me wrong here, I'm friendly. The only thing that stops me from befriending someone is my tendency to be prejudiced. My instincts have proven to be right a lot of times so I really rely on it most of the times.

Its now the second semester and guess what?? I've trusted my instincts and made a lot of friends. There were some that I chose not to befriend since I've got a negative feeling from them, and my decision was right. They turned out to be bad apples. :))

I'm really thankful for my experiences these past months because they made me learn a lot of things. I've grown a lot since last year and I'm slowly maturing. I've also become stronger and I'm proud to say that I'm slowly knowing myself even more. I've learned to be responsible for the consequences of my decisions and I'm slowly realizing who my true friends are.

Of course I'm also thankful for my family and my friends (this include my blogger buddies), but they are already part of the experiences that I'm talking about. They are the main characters in the story of my life and I'll always be thankful to have them around me all the time.

Pros:
comfy
makes my eyes look bigger
affordable

Cons:
the color doesn't show very well under normal lighting

Overall:
The main reason I bought contact lenses is because I would like to try out different eye colors. This pair didn't stand up to my expectations, though it made my eyes look bigger, the gray color didn't show. Under normal lighting my eyes just looks bigger. The color has no change whatsoever unless you look at my eye really closely.

This pair is most likely to have better effect on people with a lighter eye color.(brown,blue,green..etc.)
i would recommended this for Asians who want to have bigger eyes w/o having the piercing black iris look. This creates a more subtle look.

As for people like me who wants a more noticeable difference in the eye color, I suggest you that buy from a different line.

Hi guys!! I'm so sorry for the lack of posts. It seems like I've abandoned my blog already. :(


Exam week has just ended and I'm still trying to make up for the countless sleepless nights I've had with all the studying and stuff. The auditions for our batch play didn't help either, I was given the role of asst. director and so I have to be present in every meeting and audition that were held. The auditions are finally over and I have to say, it was a big relief to the directing staff. :)

Now the things I have to worry about would just be planning our presentation for the coming Christmas party of our swim team(I've mentioned that I was in a swim team right?? ^-^), maintaining my grades and helping in the preparation of our school's sports fest. *(^o^)*

During exam week, I was only able to check blog updates and make quick comments. While checking the updates I stumbled upon a cute giveaway!!!
